About Mel Miranda
As a consumer of science and a lover of magic, Miranda mainly writes science fiction and fantasy. She’s loved storytelling since she was a child. Her mother read her stories of spiders and webs as well as lions, witches, and wardrobes. Her father made up stories on the fly, growling over flashlights and slaying many monsters. When she grew older, Miranda took over as resident reader and storyteller for her younger siblings.
It was cemented in her blood then. Though there was many rough attempts and many hiatuses, Miranda always came back to writing. As of today, she’s published three short stories and is currently working on finishing her epic fantasy novel.
In her spare time Miranda can be found playing D&D with her friends, deconstructing the latest show, and of course, reading.
